Louisville is for Lovers summer 7” series is one of the best concepts for a series I’ve heard. They plan to release 4 7“‘s this summer all backed by release shows on the glassworks rooftop where admission to the event gets you the 7”.
The first in the series features The Bad Reeds and their classic hard rock track “Circus Circus” complete with guitar solo. The Workers take the flip side with two tracks of a more 90’s alt rock vibe all on the super cool mustard yellow marbled vinyl.
The Second release is the better of the two and finds itself on more of a bluish gray marbled vinyl featuring Adventure doing a fuzzy garage cut on one side. Second Story Man takes on 2 tracks on the flip side as well but with more of a sugary indie pop that proves to be the most interesting tracks in the series to date. These are limited releases so find your way to their website or check out one of the rooftop shows if you happen to find yourself in Louisville.
